I'm Zee, and I paint happy things
What started as doodling on napkins has turned into my favorite way to spend my days - creating cute, colorful paintings that (hopefully) make people smile!
I taught myself to paint because I wanted to make the kind of art I actually wanted to hang on my walls - fun stuff like desert cacti, beloved cartoon characters, and anything that brings back good memories.
Art doesn't have to be serious
I think there's room for more joy in the world, and that includes the art on your walls! Whether it's a cheeky cactus or your favorite childhood cartoon character peeking from a corner, I want my paintings to be the thing that makes you happy when you walk by.
How the magic happens
The Idea
It usually starts with something that makes me go "ooh, that would look cute!" - a plant, a character, or a random doodle.
The Painting
I grab my acrylics, put on some music, and let the colors do their thing. Each piece takes a few hours (or days, no rush!).
The Finish
Once it's done, I seal it up nice and cozy so it lasts forever, sign it, and it's ready for a new home!
